BES 2013, the de facto biggest conference and exhibition on Terrestrial & Satellite Broadcasting will open gates for all the visitors from 29 to 31 January, 2013. The exposition organised by Broadcast Engineering Society (India) provides a platform for several leading manufacturing companies from around 25 countries to display their latest equipments and technology directly or through their dealers in India. In spite of several private television channels mushrooming in the countries, the public broadcaster in India, Doordarshan has the largest budget for the purchase of broadcast equipment. The Broadcast Engineering Society (India), established in 1987, is the today largest body of broadcast professionals set up with the main objective of promoting advancement & dissemination of knowledge in Radio & TV broadcasting. The Society encourages education, research and training in broadcast engineering profession by actively cooperating with academia, industry and the Govt. including leading broadcast organizations worldwide. The Society has always been in the forefront as a facilitator to bring experts in various fields of broadcasting together to enable adoption of new technologies and growth of broadcasting sector in the country.
